You can look around, change light settings or move forward to enter the next room. Alternatively, you can also use the "Switch Room" button to directly switch rooms. Everything you see is mathematically generated and rendered with a rendering technique called ray marching.
You are currently in the Domain Repetition Room
Domain Repetition repeats a shape in the x,y and z directions to infinity. The direction of the repetition as well as the repetition amount can be specified by clicking the button "Domain Repetition". Additionally, a second, moving light source is added to the scene and the boxes were given a reflective material.
You are currently in the Bump Mapping Room
The bump mapping effect you see is just an illusion. The actual surface of the shape is not distorted. The effect is generated by manipulating the light calculations, which causes the surface to be shaded in a way that creates a bumpy appearance. If you completely turn down the light intensity, the effect will disappear. You can play around with the effect by clicking the "Bump Mapping" button.
You are currently in the Displacement Room
Displacement changes the surface of the object by manipulating each surface point with a sinusoid function. Changing the paramter of that function over time creates a fluid or plasma like animation. You can change the intensity of that parameter by clicking the "Displacement" button.
You are currently in the Shadows & Reflection Room
The spheres reflect eachother and create shadows. They all have a smooth, reflective surface. If you use the PBR lighting model, make sure to give the light more intensity, to fully see the effect. You can change the intensity of the reflection and the shadows by clicking the "Shadows & Reflection" button.
